Volunteer Appreciation Day

Leukemia Texas is very thankful for the many volunteers who have supported our organization over the years. We couldn’t do what we do without the help of our amazing volunteers; they’re vitally important to the success of LTX. And what better time to celebrate them then with Volunteer Appreciation Day, which is April 20th.

We would love for you to get involved with our organization if you haven’t already had the opportunity. You can donate your time and talent in a variety of different ways. Volunteers help us with our fundraising events (like the upcoming Strike Out Pediatric Leukemia baseball game), they write Buddy Notes to send some kind words to patients all over Texas, and they fill Buddy Packs with items that patients need during their time in the hospital away from home.

If you’re interested in becoming an LTX ‘Buddy,’ please email us at info@leukemiatexas.org for more information about volunteering for Leukemia Texas. Happy Volunteer Appreciation Day to all of our LTX Buddies!
