LTX Spotlight Story: Elliott

Meet Elliott Walker, a Patient Aid recipient and our LTX Spotlight Story.

“Elliott is the sweetest 4-year-old girl. She is the best big sister and loving friend. She loves pink, Barbies, princesses, and dancing!

On November 21st, 2023, Elliott was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. AML is rare in children, and it is an aggressive cancer that requires intense chemotherapy.

Elliott is such a trooper; so incredibly strong, brave, and tough! She has now completed 3 rounds of chemo and is doing well. The next step in her journey is a bone marrow transplant, and we pray this will cure Elliott Kate and keep her cancer free!”

– Lauren, Elliott’s mom

Leukemia Texas recently gave Elliott’s family a Patient Aid check, and from their gratitude has come action! LTX supported Elliott and her family, and now they want to give back.

The Walker family has partnered with their amazing friends at CrossFit SAF in Weatherford, TX to set up a fundraiser benefiting LTX. From now until the end of March, CrossFit SAF is taking donations in Elliott’s honor.

Let’s help Elliott give back and help others. All proceeds go directly towards helping other pediatric patients in need.
