We’re so excited about our new partnership with Charities2Love! Our Patient and Programs Manager Mandy Flaming recently spoke with an amazing group of volunteers who came together to make 100 Buddy Packs for our pediatric patients. Maitry Shah is the inspiring Founder and President of Charities2Love, and through her leadership and heart for others, many non-profits in DFW are receiving support.
These Buddy Packs will be delivered to pediatric patients being treated for cancer in Texas Oncology satellite clinics across the state. Many of these clinics in rural areas do not have enough resources for the kids they treat. We hope each child will know they have a Buddy at LTX and Charities2Love!
Charities2Love is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting volunteerism in our communities and bringing awareness to charities and causes. Their mission is to inspire volunteers to find their cause by increasing awareness and visibility of charities.
