Michele’s compassion for the breadth of needs in Fort Worth shows through her long history of philanthropic leadership. She has led numerous events and committees throughout the area raising hundreds of thousands of dollars. Michele’s commitment to helping others is reflected in both of her daughters. Lauren, a Hematology-Oncology nurse at Cook Children’s Medical Center and Courtney, who is studying for her Masters in Public Health at UNTHSC, both have a true passion to fund efforts for cancer research and patient care.

Ashli & Todd Blumenfeld

Ashli’s parents, Rozanne and Billy Rosenthal, and her grandmother, Roz Rosenthal, are avid philanthropists who have set a wonderful example for Ashli and Todd and have encouraged them to get involved in the community over the years.

Ashli and Todd met in New Orleans at Tulane University in 1999 and were married in 2008 shortly after relocating to Fort Worth, Texas from New York, New York.  The couple has two children – Elanor Rose, 4 years old, and William David, 2 years old — who are the light of their lives.

Todd is a lawyer at the Friedman, Suder & Cooke law firm where he specializes in intellectual property litigation and corporate law.  He sits on the board at Temple Beth El and the Jewish Federation of Fort Worth & Tarrant County.

Ashli is the Marketing Director at the Penrose Group, a private investment company with a focus on the food manufacturing industry.  She currently sits on the Board of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, the Fort Worth Zoo and the Texas Ballet Theater.  She is also involved with Cook Children’s Seventh Avenue Steering Committee, the Spur Committee at the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, MD Anderson Cancer Center’s Advance Team and the Beyond the Bag Event supporting the Joan Katz Breast Center.
